PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide fiber allowing heat treatment at a low temperature in bonding and used as a hot melt type adhesive fiber suitably, having less generation of white powder during its production processes, capable of being obtained in a good operability, and excellent in strength and elongation. SOLUTION: The polyamide fiber consists of ternary or higher copolyamide of monomers of nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 11, nylon 12, and nylon 610, has a melting point of 80 to 160°C and a wet melting point of 50 to 100°C, and has a mineral oil agent containing an alkylether nonion and an alkyl phosphate potassium salt, attached on the surface of the fiber.
