PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic polymer composition having both excellent gas barrier properties and flexibility and a molded article. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) a block copolymer composed of a polymer block (a) consisting essentially of an aromatic vinyl-based compound and a polymer block (b) consisting essentially of isobutylene and (B) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based copolymer and has an aspect ratio of disperse phase of≥2. The molded article is obtained. Preferably the component (A) has a weight-average molecular weight of≥10,000 and≤400,000 and an aromatic vinyl-based compound unit content of≥10 wt.% and the component (B) has an ethylene content of≥10 mol%.
