PLANE LIGHT EMITTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane light emitting apparatus which can illuminate a display object apparently by a self-emitting property even if an illuminating light is not made incident from an illuminating light incident surface and can give a deep and 3-dimensional and highly decorative appearance to the display object. SOLUTION: In the plane light emitting apparatus 1, an illuminating light introduced inside from a side end surface of a light guide plate 2 which is an illuminating light incident surface 2a is reflected to a front side by a light reflecting portion 4 provided on a rear surface of the light guide plate 2, and the reflected light is made to illuminate to the front side through a light translucent portion 3 provided on the surface of the light guide plate 2 from the surface of the light guide plate 2 being the emitting face 2b.
