The invention relates to galvanochemistry, namely to a process for electrochemical treatment of sewage waters from heavy metal ions, such as zinc, copper, nickel, cadmium and others. The process includes flow electrolysis of sewage waters using soluble iron electrodes, with addition of hydrogen peroxide and of disperse magnetite in the following component ratio:hydrogen peroxide, 33%, ml/l�0,5...1,0disperse magnetite, g/l�0,5...2,0,at a current density of 1 A/dm2, with concomitant ultraviolet irradiation with a wavelength of 180...400 nm and an intensity of 20...25 J/cm2Àmin, with subsequent decantation and filtration of the formed sediment.
