<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect the amount of dust in a dust container. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit for an air conditioning device includes the dust container 60 in which the dust removed from an air filter is stored. The dust container 60 includes a storing amount detecting means 70 for detecting the amount of dust. The storing amount detecting means 70 includes a light emitting diode 72 and a phototransistor 73 opposed to each other across a storing section 62. The intensity of light of the light emitting diode 72 having passed through transparent windows 64, 65 of the storing portion 62 is detected by the phototransistor 73, and the dust storing amount is detected on the basis of the detected intensity of light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
