PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an authentication package installation method, an authentication package installation program and a recording medium equipped with a management procedure including the verification of an authentication package and authentication for a specific manager. SOLUTION: An image processor having an installation means 5 that installs an authentication package 7 which provides a function related to authentication includes: a signature confirmation means 6 that confirms whether or not the issuance source of the authentication package 7 is an authenticated issuance source based on an electronic signature attached to the authentication package 7; and an authentication package confirmation means 5 that confirms the authentication package based on attribute information of the authentication package confirmed to be the authenticated issuance source.
