FIELD: weapons. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personnel protection means. Proposed device is available in three versions. In compliance with the first version, the device comprises carcass with two arcs in parallel planes arranged to be attached to person body and bullet-proof elements. Every said arc consists of two equal-size semi-arcs hinged together. Each front semi-arc can turn rearward through 180 relative to rear semi-arc on vertical pins and be locked in turned position. Aforesaid carcass can be attached to human body with the help of two shoulder straps waist belt fastened to rear semi-arcs. Bullet-proof elements represent a set of bullet-proof plates pivoted together and to rear semi-arcs to move along their outer outline, and front semi-arcs turned relative to rear semi-arcs to make complete arcs. Two handles are attached to said bullet-proof plates to move into combat position.
