摘要 A system for use with a mobile device includes at least one sensor to sense a variable related to tilting of the mobile device and at least one activatable system in operative connection with the sensor. The at least one activatable system increases stability of the mobile device upon actuation/change in state thereof on the basis of data measured by the at least one sensor. A variable related to tilting includes variables that indicate concurrent, actual tilting as described herein as well as variables predictive of imminent tilting. Activatable systems hereof change state upon actuation or activation to increase stability of the mobile device by reducing, eliminating or preventing tilting.

A system for use with a mobile device including a suspension, the system comprising: at least one sensor to sense at least one variable having a threshold value which indicates an existing tilting instability of the mobile device during operative use of the mobile device, wherein the tilting instability is existing when at least one mobility element of the mobile device loses contact with a surface upon which the mobile device is moving, a control system in operative connection with the at least one sensor, and a brake system in operative connection with the control system, the control system activating the brake system upon the at least one variable reaching the threshold value to increase stability of the mobile device, the brake system being connected via a first connector of the brake system to a portion of the mobile device suspended by the suspension and connected via a second connector of the brake system to a portion of the mobile device not suspended by the suspension, the brake system having only two states which consist of a non-activated state wherein the first connector is free to move relative to the second connector under forces experienced during travel of the mobile device and an activated state wherein the brake system prevents motion of the first connector relative to the second connector and thereby preventing motion of the portion of the mobile device suspended by the suspension relative to the portion of the mobile device.
