1,158,859. Laminated cores. LA TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE. 6 May, 1968 [26 May, 1967], No. 21282/68. Heading H1P. In a laminated magnetic core assembly comprising two relatively movable parts having co-operating pole faces, the laminations are coated with oil and one of the pole faces is trued while the other comprises the raw edges of the laminations. The raw edges provide grooves which prevent the oil from sticking the pole faces together when they touch. The laminations may be U- or E-shaped and the fixed core may include an anti-remanence air-gap. The armature laminations are stampedout, coated with oil, stacked, secured, e.g. by means of rivets, and trued by grinding. The fixed core laminations are stamped-out, coated with oil, stacked in a jig in the order in which they were produced, levelled by applying a force parallel to the plane of the laminations against the pole faces, and secured. |
