PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the frame rate while suppressing deterioration of image quality due to the generation of a missing area in an ultrasonic image in relation to a synthetic aperture method using general transmission beamforming.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic signal processing device which repeats a transmission event for transmitting an ultrasonic wave to a subject, receives a reflected ultrasonic wave from the subject in synchronization with the transmission event, and synthesizes a frame acoustic line signal from a sub frame acoustic line signal generated on the basis of the received reflection ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic signal processing device performs transmission so that the ultrasonic waves converge in a subject's body from a transmission vibrator array in one transmission event, performs selection so that the transmission vibrator array moves in the array direction by a pitch as long as the plurality of vibrators in synchronization with the transmission event, sets, for each transmission event, an object area including a position corresponding to a place where the ultrasonic waves converge in the subject's body and having a width in the array direction corresponding to the focus depth at which the ultrasonic waves converge in the subject's body at least equal to or greater than the pitch, and generates a subframe acoustic line signal for an observation point in the object area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
