The rail may be raised or lowered by cables 6 and the lamp units may be clamped at any point around the rail. The lamp units may be rotatable about the struts 7. The lamp units have one or more movable reflectors inside the unit, e.g. as shown in Specification 625,307 (Division F4). In alternative embodiments the lamp units may be adjusted by remote-control gear, two circular rails may be used or a rail with spokes which may be secured to the mast. The canopy 2 may be sealed with a transparent cover and the whole arrangement may be tiltable about the top of the mast. |
