Sampling valve - allows continuous and random sampling

Valve has hollow spindle with conical plug sealing the body in which it is mounted. Under normal conditions the seal is assured by a spring on the spindle exterior to the process side. Continuous sampling may be obtd. by connecting a pump to the hollow spindle which is open to the process liq. Random samples are obtd. by opening the valve, this allowing liq. to enter the chamber surrounding the spindle and exit via a side connection at the top of the chamber. Teflon or corrosion-resisting steel may be employed.
