Aeration of rotary refuse incinerators - to ensure complete combustion while water cooled core permits use of cheaper prodn materials

Complete combustion of plastic contg. refuse is achieved in rotary incinerator by the introduction of air long its length. The aeration pipe is perforated at regular intervals and has a cruciform cross section insert welded to it at the cross tips which provides a passage for cooling water.
