1358784 Two-part couplings SIEMENS AG 22 March 1972 [30 March 1971 (2)] 13324/72 Heading H2E [Also in Division H1] A connector incorporates a printed circuit board 40 which connects spring socket contacts 38 to wire-wrap pins 39 or solder tags (53, Fig. 4, not shown) for a cable. The body is L-shaped in cross-section. One leg 42 has cavities 48 in which the contacts 38 are located by embossed lugs 67 and held by engagement of spring tongues (47, Fig. 6, not shown) with the cavity sides. At the ends of the connector are blocks 49 which have holes (51, Fig. 6, not shown) for riveting the connector to a rack and chamfered projections 52 for guiding a mating plug (not shown). The plug is carried on a printed circuit board (not shown) in a plug-in unit (6, Fig. 1, not shown), which is locked in position in the rack by a screw (26, Fig. 1, not shown) or by a hook and stud arrangement (Fig. 2, not shown).
