PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain particle sensor device capable of sufficiently increasing a strength of the emitted light beam in a convergence area by focusing the emitted light beam on the convergence area even when a light emission device having weak radiation is used.SOLUTION: A grain particle sensor device includes a light emission device 50a designed to be partially capable of irradiating a volume body 54 which may have a grain particle 56, and further includes a light detection device 50b having one detection surface 64. A part of the light beam 60 scattered in the particle grain 56 hits on the detection surface 64 and the intensity of the light beam 60 hitting on the detection surface and/or an information signal 68 relating to the strength distribution can be outputted. The grain particle sensor device further includes an estimation device 70, and can determine and output information relating to the presence or absence of the grain particle 56, the number of grain particles, the grain particle density, and/or characteristics of the grain particle 56. The grain particle sensor device includes at least one lens element 58, and arranges the emitted light beam 52 in a focusable manner in the focus area 60 inside the volume body 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2a |
