PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration that can suppress a reduction in volume resistivity of a carrier liquid to be reused.SOLUTION: A second separation and extraction device 34 separates, with the use of an electric field, a first substance included in a liquid developer recovered in an image forming part and having a polarity reverse to that of a toner from a second substance having an amount of charge intermediate between those of the toner and first substance. A carrier liquid from which the first substance is separated is supplied to a carrier tank 32 to be reused. The first substance is, for example, a charge control agent having a low volume resistivity, and can suppress a reduction in volume resistivity of the carrier liquid to be reused.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
