PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling a cam shaft that can accurately assemble a cam piece to a shaft without using a highly accurate assembling device.SOLUTION: The method for assembling a cam shaft that assembles the cam piece 30 provided with a cam hole 31 to insert the shaft 20 with the shaft 20 by shrink-fitting includes a step of inserting the shaft 20 into the cam hole 31 of which diameter is extended by heating; and a step of advancing a movable roller 340 to position the cam piece 30 relative to the shaft 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
