This fluid device comprises a circulating flow path, and, arranged in the circulating flow path, a capture unit for capturing a sample substance in a solution and/or a detection unit for detecting the sample substance in the solution. This method for capturing a sample substance bonded to carrier particles uses a fluid device which comprises a circulating flow path having two or more circulation flow path valves and a capture unit for capturing the aforementioned carrier particles arranged in the circulating flow path, and involves: an introduction step for introducing a solution that includes a sample substance into at least one segment partitioned off by the circulating flow path valves in a state in which the circulating flow path valves are closed, and for introducing a solution that contains carrier particles that bond to the sample substance into at least one other segment; a mixing step for opening all circulating flow path valves to circulate and mix the solution in the circulating flow path; and a capture step for capturing the aforementioned carrier particles in the capture unit. |
