1405544 Clamps K WEINHOLD 19 April 1973 [22 June 1972] 19019/73 Heading E2B [Also in Division F2] A pipe-clamp has a pair of flanged jaws 10, 11 which are secured together at one end by an adjustable nut and bolt 19, 20, and at the other by a toggle lever 12 pivoted to one jaw at 14 and connected by a spring link 13 to the other jaw. The jaws are axially aligned by interfitting arms 22, 24, Fig. 4, and 27, 29, Fig. 3, at one side. In the form shown in Fig. 6, the clamp is secured to a double nozzle 52 in that its bolt 47 passes through a staple 53 projecting from the side of the nozzle. Modifications of this arrangement are described. |
