1376470 Sliding clasp fasteners YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 1 June 1972 [2 June 1971] 25688/72 Heading E2S A slide assembly of the automatically locking type adapted for concealed zip fasteners, comprises a slider body 11 having an integral diamond member 13 for guiding rows of fastener elements (not shown) a locking member 16 pivotally connected at 20 to diamond member 13 and provided with a locking pin 21 engageable with the fastening elements, a spring 23 resiliently connecting between the locking member 16 and diamond member 13, a pull tab 24 and associated link 25, a reduced space 27a being provided between locking member 16 and diamond member 13 for the restricted passage of link 25 against the force of spring 22 into and out of a position in which the pull tab lies behind the slider body and concealed from external view. Projections 14a on diamond member 13 or a ridge 30 on locking member 16 of a modification shown in Fig. 4 form protuberances which restrict the passage of link 25. When the link 25 is located at the restricting protuberance it lifts the locking pin 21 out of engagement with the fastener elements. |
