PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of simply and freely arranging a virtual object in an AR space.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: a recognition unit for recognizing an environment recognition matrix that expresses, with a position and attitude of a terminal having captured an image as a criterion, a position and attitude of environment appearing in the image; a calculation unit for calculating an inverse matrix of the environment recognition matrix; and an object arrangement unit for arranging a virtual object having the position and the attitude based on the inverse matrix of the environment recognition matrix in the environment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
