An ignition cable for use with vehicle engines having spark ignition having the improved construction comprising a flexible resistive conductor means and a special flexible conductive coating means thereover which is capable of providing the ignition cable means with sustained resistance to temperatures of about 500 DEG F and higher as encountered, for example in under-the-hood automotive engine applications.
