<p>A new genus of compositions of matter, namely, difluoroxalatostannate(II) complexes has been discovered. These compounds when incorporated into oral compositions for dental caries prophylaxis (e.g., as a constituent of a dentifrice, prophylaxis paste, or mouthwash), have demonstrated substantial utility as an anticariogenic agent.</p> |
