Protection against corrosion using a sacrificial metal - esp for assemblies on the underframe of motor cars

In an assembly of metal parts including a sacrificial metal for corrosion protection, the novelty is that the sacrificial metal consists of >=1 metal strip located between two metal parts in the assembly. The sacrificial metal strip pref. has a surface area smaller than the zone of contact between the two adjacent metal parts, and is pref. coated with an adhesive on >=1 surface, the adhesive contg. a component which makes it a conductor of electricity. The strip is pref. 0.05-0.15 mm thick and made of aluminium. Used for the corrosion-protection of metal assemblies in aggressive environments, esp. the underframes of motor cars.
