The device enables the pressure change cycles in a milking machine pulsator to be maintained at a constant rhythm. The device consists of a main body (1) in which operates a valve stem (2) bearing two valve discs and a valve stem (3) bearing one valve disc, both stems being connected to a membrane (4). The upper chamber formed by a membrane (6) communicates with the lower part of the body (1). The aperture (E) is located between membrane (4) and membrane (6) and is calibrated according to the required pulsation frequency. The space between the membranes can contain gas or liquid which also assists in maintaining the various membrane oscillation frequencies. The device is actuated by means of a constant vacuum at (D) subjecting outlets (A) and (B) alternately to vacuum and venting.
