Supports may be silica, alumina, titania, zirconia, activated carbon, 'Celite', silicaalumina, or boron phosphate and the palladium metal may be alone, admixed, alloyed or in solid solution with a Group I B or VIII metal. The palladium may be deposited from a salt a complex or oxide or hydroxide, and thereafter reduced to metal. After impregnation with phosphoric acid solution the catalyst may be calcined.</p> |
