A self-adhesive balancing weight (12) for a vehicle wheel, having a contact surface adapted to fit to the rim of a wheel, is composed of at least two weight sections (12a, 12b) being pivotably connected with each other by means of a hinge-like connecting element (14, 24) having a pivot axis tangential with respect to the axis of a wheel rim (2) carrying the balancing weight (12). The connecting element (14, 24) allows to better adapt the balancing weight (12) to differently formed wheel rims (12). |
