<p>The bottle (1), plastic or glass, has two scales; one (2) showing the volume remaining when it is upright, the other (3) showing the volume removed when it is inverted for drip feeding. The identification label (4) is fixed to the side of the bottle. This label is provided with scales (5), each one printed along the edge of each side, corresponding with those provided on the bottle by printing or casting in when manufactured. When the bottle passes along the production line for filling, and the label is attached, any covering up by misalignment of the label does not prevent reading being taken.</p> |
