<p>A tubular flexible reinforcement is led onto a horizontal mandrel partially surrounded by a chamber which can be flooded with a liquified resin to impregnate and enclose the reinforcing element. Once the resin is self-supporting the coated zone of the reinforcement may be drawn out of the chamber, pulling a further length in to successively build continuous hose. Process may be repeated to build hose with two concentric layers of reinforcement enclosed in two successive resin matrices. After an initial quenching, the reinforced tubing may be supported by internal inflation and longitudinally drawn.</p> |
