<p>The textile thread winding mechanism with the thread passing through a hole in a plate then past a photoelectric monitoring device which gives a control signal when the thread is interrupted, followed by a violating spindle with a figure of eight guide channel around it, which reciprocates the thread as it is wound on the spool behind, has a further plate close to the photoelectric monitor, on the spool side. This plate has a corrugated edge, so that it a faulty thread with most of its outer strands broken, passes through, thus reducing its cross section, a fault signal is given by the monitor.</p> |
