Aqueous solutions of heat sensitive synthetic organic detergents, such as sodium higher alkyl benzene sulfonates, are dried by admixing such a solution with a very finely divided sorbent material, such as a water soluble builder or filler salt or an insoluble scouring material, thereby distributing the solution over a very greatly increased area, which speeds drying and prevents hot spots during drying, and drying the mixed detergent-sorbent-moisture particles. |
