The spectacle frame has mounting pieces fixed to respective lens frames. Auxiliary temples are connected to the rear ends of the respective mounting pieces so as to permit the auxiliary temples to be folded downwardly from the position in which they extend rearwardly and to resiliently keep the auxiliary temples in the rearwardly extending position. Main temples are connected to the rear ends of the respective auxiliary temples so as to permit the main temples to be folded inwardly from the position in which they extend rearwardly. Mechanisms permit the main temples to pivot further outwardly from their rearwardly extending position at the connecting portions between the auxiliary temples and the main temples. The main temples can be bent resiliently outwardly, so that the they will not press so hard against the wearer's temples. By folding the auxiliary temples and then the main temples, the frame can be folded to a flat shape. The mounting piece is simple in structure and thus compact, so that the entire frame presents a neat appearance. |
