1430780 Tool holders F SIROLA 14 Sept 1973 [14 Sept 1972] 43390/73 Headings B3B and B3T A cutting tool comprises a holder 10 and a replaceable cutting insert 28 which is mounted in a recess at the end of a blade-like supporting member 20 which is mounted in a groove 13 in one side of the holder 10. The blade is provided with a slot 23 which divides it into two portions 25, 26 the portion 26 having the recess for the insert 28 which have complementing engaging bottom regions. The holder is provided with a screw actuated slide member 36 which is in a complementary slot 16 which is inclined downwardly towards the blade axis and whereby displacement of the slide member causes pressure on the upper portion 25 of the blade which overlies the rear end of the insert to clamp the insert in the recess and the blade 26 in the groove 13 of the holder. |
