The present invention relates to a device, a method for bidirectional connection of two electricity grids and an electrical grid comprising such a device. The aim is to connect sub-grids, having a packet-based, power-flow-controlled energy transfer, to already existing parts of the grid, in order, in this way, to be able to use the advantages of the new technology without exceedingly increasing investment costs. In addition, the problem addressed with respect to the prior art is that of connecting together two electricity grids, both based on the new technology, via different voltage levels. In one embodiment, the invention makes it possible to connect a packet-based, power-controlled electricity grid to a conventional electricity grid, wherein electrical power can flow in both directions between the two grids. A quantum flow controller, based on a bidirectional DC/DC converter, produces the connection between the grids. |
