<p>The system has a conventional boiler arrangement with a steam drum, and as in the heating system shown a number of radiators are supplied with steam. The radiators have a single feed and condensate return line, so that the condensate will counterflow over the steam until it joins the steam in the feed main. Variations allow for a steam and return pipe from the radiators to form the single main. There is a fall in the pipe so that the condensate may return to the steam drum. There are several radiators and each is connected by a separate line to the main pipe.</p> |
