<p>A vibratory material handling apparatus including a material engaging surface and a vibration imparting device for vibrating the surface. The latter includes a pair of parallel, rotary shafts each mounting an eccentric weight and a prime mover for rotating one of the shafts. The shafts are interconnected so that when the one shaft is rotated, the other will be rotated in the opposite direction and the interconnection is such that there is a substantially positive driving connection between the two shafts which will allow limited slippage so the eccentric weights may synchronize relative to each other and to the center of gravity of the apparatus.</p> |
