<p>In an extrusion machine with a ring-section die ejecting the semi-fluid thermoplastic material on to an arbor determining the inside dia. of the tube, a hydraulic lubricant is introduced without press. into a cavity immediately in front of the die where the extrusion is still semi-fluid, to be drawn along the arbor by the tube in a layer which becomes progressively thinner as the radial forces caused by cooling and/or a conical increase in dia. of the arbor, act on the extrusion.</p> |
