<p>Folding transit box for beer cans etc is made from material provided with a biocide or biostat. This effect is improved preferably by providing outlets for the can contents should these start to leak etc. as a result of damage, bad handling, corrosion etc. The biocide may be a fungicide or bactericide, or alternately an insecticide as appropriate. The biostat on the other hand should be fungistatic or bacteriostatic. The material to these specifications prevents the formation of harmful acetic acid, and the provision of escape outlets prevents large amounts of fluid etc building up within the box.</p> |
