Tooth cleaning and gum massaging toothbrush - has bristles in trough formation implanted in head

The toothbrush has a trough shaped bristle formation obtaining simultaneous tooth cleansing and gum massage. The bristles are implanted on a head formed by a handle extension, and vary in length with those bristles on longitudinal head edges longer than those on the head centre line. Pref. bristle length varies from longitudinal head edge to centre line giving two predominately orthogonal brushing surfaces. The support head is curved in transverse section adding to the inclination between brushing surfaces and outer bristles are softer than those of the interior.
