Overloading bridge for ramps includes a bridge plate pivotably mounted on ramp. The plate is fitted at its front end with an extension which slides an the longitudinal direction and supports on a loading or off-loading platform. The plate is provided along its side edges with a guard plate which bridges over a gap between the ramp and bridge plate positioned above. The bridge plate extension is also fitted with guard plates which project vertically downwards and with their inner surface facing the outer surface of guard plates of bridge plate. In retracted position of the extension the guard plates of the bridge plate project to the front edge of the extension.
