1527034 Filter units for vacuum cleaners FISKER & NIELSEN A/S 4 Feb 1976 [7 Feb 1975] 04373/76 Heading BIT A filter unit for detachably connecting to the outlet aperture of a vacuum cleaner, comprises a base member 17 detachably secured to slotted cap 18 and having a nozzle 19 provided with seal 20 for cooperating with collar 13 of the vacuum cleaner, and a resilient ring 25 which is normally held in its axially compressed and radially expanded state by thrust plates 23, 24 so that the ring 25 sealing engages and supports filter insert 40, the plate 24 being rotatable and spring urged towards plate 23. When the filter insert is to be removed the plate 24 is rotated against its spring loading to relax the ring so that it is not in engagement with the filter insert. |
