1445556 Silver alloys CASTOLIN SA 12 June 1975 [12 June 1974] 25239/75 Heading C7A A corrosion resistant, ductile quaternary alloy containing:- Ag 35-48 Zn 25-35 Sn 0À5-3À5 Si 0À01-0À4 Ni 0-1À0 Pd 0-1À0 P 0-0À5 Cu Bal is easily castable and extrudable, and is suitable for intricate castings i.e. jewellery, cutlery &c. and may be used as a brazing alloy with good capillary flow and wettability. The alloy may be electrolytically polished, and, since it is Cd-free, is very suitable for brazing metal parts in food industry equipment without toxic effects. |
