A straightening machine for straightening a metal strip comprises an infeed device (2) and a pressure frame (1). The infeed device (2) has one or more leveling rollers (21), and the pressure frame (1) has a roller frame (11). The roller frame (11) has one or more roller blocks (12) to bring a metal strip (5) into a upward full encirclement wrap. Each roller block (12) is attached with a camshaft (13), where each camshaft (13) is connected to a motorized drive system. Rotation of the camshafts (13) actuates the roller blocks (12) to move the metal strips (5), applying pressure on the metal strips (5) during the passing through of the roller blocks (12). A closing cylinder is attached to one end of a roller block (12), where the closing cylinder has a convex contact surface (124). Multiple roller blocks (12) are connected to each adjacent roller blocks (12) via their connected closing cylinders. The straightening machine provides the advantage of decreasing operating and maintenance costs. |
