A flat display panel (100) and a manufacturing method. The flat display panel (100) comprises a first substrate (10); a second substrate (20) opposite to the first substrate (10), the second substrate (20) being provided with a material layer (22) with a plurality of grooves (222); and a plurality of spacers (30) arranged on the first substrate (10) and facing the second substrate (20) so as to separate the first substrate (10) from the second substrate (20), wherein the plurality of spacers (30) includes a plurality of main spacers (32) and a plurality of auxiliary spacers (34), the plurality of auxiliary spacers (34) respectively faces areas where the plurality of grooves (222) are disposed, the plurality of main spacers (32) respectively faces areas other than the areas where the plurality of grooves (222) are disposed, and the main spacers (32) and the auxiliary spacers (34) are consistent in height, so that when not being pressed, the flat display panel (100) is supported by the main spacers (32), and when being pressed, the flat display panel (100) is further supported by the auxiliary spacers (34). By this means, the manufacturing method can be simplified, and the production cost can be decreased. |
