Provided is a hollow fiber membrane module that can be used in various vessels that can accommodate liquids without a cleaning function being affected. A hollow fiber membrane module (1) is provided with a plurality of hollow fiber membranes (10), a hollow case (20), and a check valve (30). The case (20) is provided with a valve opening (27) that the check valve (30) can open and close. The check valve (30) is provided in the valve opening (27) of the case (20), allows inflow of air to the inside of the case (20) from the outside of the case (20), and opens the valve opening (27) when negative pressure arises inside the case (20). |
