<p>The hot or cold drink dispenser tap always delivers drinks at the desired temperature. In addition, a microswitch is incorporated for connection to a counting device if it is required to record the n number of drinks delivered. The tap consists of a body divided into two parts (1a, 1b) screwed together and forming a chamber (1c) for a piston (2) blocking the space (1d) in which the liquids are mixed (1d). An extension (2b) of the piston actuates spring (6)-loaded poppet valves (5) admitting liquids from supply pipes (3, 4) to the mixing chamber when a knob (11) is depressed. One (3) or both of the supply pipes are fitted with branch pipes (12) containing a calibrated orifice (13) which allows continuous recirculation of liquid in that pipe and thus maintains the temperature of the supply right up to the mixing chamber. The microswitch (14) is fitted in the body, and is actuated by passage of the piston (2) each time the knob is pressed.</p> |
