<p>The object is fixed and the spraying is done in a mobile cabin, contg. an air inlet and a fan ensuring continuous circulation of air in the cabin, bringing in clean air and discharging contaminated air to a washer. Plant incorporates a fixed gutter extending along the path of the cabin, receiving the discharged wash-liq. The washer is attached to the mobile cabin, and the gutter is used as a hydraulic seal between the air outlet from the washer and the fixed discharge to atmos. In prior art, the fluid-tightness between the gutter and the air in the cabin is achieved by a flexible strip, which can be rapidly fouled, and also the washer may be under the cabin and move with it, using a lot of water and weighting the cabin. The invention, by using a fixed gutter, allows the use of as much liq. as required, and by using the gutter as a seal, resolves very simply the problem of fluid-tightness.</p> |
