<p>An improved printing apparatus and method utilizes a plurality of compressible injector units to apply ink of different colors to the face surface of a printing plate disposed at an inking station. After the injector units have been compressed to apply ink to the face surface of the printing plate, a transfer roller is moved across the surface of the printing plate. The transfer roller is then moved from the inking station to a printing station and applies ink received from the face surface of the printing plate to sheet material at the printing station.</p> |
