This oral cavity insertion instrument (1) comprises: a plate-like base part (10) provided with a band-like pressing piece (30) having an upper end folded forward, a band-like pressing piece (40) having a lower end folded forward, and an air hole (13) that passes through the base part in the front-rear direction; a rear projection part that projects backward from the center of the base part (10), and is provided with a facing wall (21) that faces the base part (10) and is spaced apart from the base part (10) by a space that can receive upper teeth, and a facing wall (81) that faces the base part (10) and is spaced apart from the base part (10) by a space that can receive lower teeth; and a band-like lingual frenulum pressing plate (50) extending downward and rearward from the rear end of the rear projection part. The lingual frenulum pressing plate (50) is provided with a pressing part (51) having a curved rear end that is bent upward and rearward. |
