The present invention is provided with: two or more antennas 160, 161; a modulator 110 for separating a transmission series into a plurality of systems of a number corresponding to the number of antennas, modulating the transmission series separated into the plurality of systems, and generating a modulation symbol for each of the systems; a coefficient determination unit 120 for determining, for each of the plurality of systems, a coefficient that indicates a mutually different amount of phase rotation for the modulation symbol of each of the systems; phase rotators 130, 131 for rotating the phase of the modulation symbol of each of the systems on the basis of the coefficient determined for the modulation symbol; an encoder 140 for encoding, for each of the systems, the phase-rotated modulation symbol by differential space-time coding, and generating a transmission symbol; and a transmitter 150 for converting, for the plurality of systems, the transmission symbol of each of the systems into a transmission signal transmitted wirelessly, and inputting the converted signal to one of the antennas. |
